Salary:              TBC depending on experience

Established in England in 1997, Rebecca Scott is a family-run business with clients around the world. We design and manufacture our own classic English furniture with a contemporary twist as well as offering a fully bespoke service.

Alongside our furniture, we offer the products of two highly regarded brands: Fine Art Lamps, creator of superb decorative lighting, and Tribu, maker of luxury outdoor furniture.


Role Summary

In the role of Showroom Manager, you will be responsible for the efficient and effective day to day running of the Showroom and all activities associated with it.


Typical Responsibilities

  • Represent and promote the Rebecca Scott brands to trade and retail customers ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Ensure the Showroom is run with full knowledge of the showroom procedures, products and pricing.
  • Respond to showroom, telephone and email enquiries, quote requests and orders.
  • Be responsible for the maximization of all showroom sales, potential sales, enquiries and leads to achieve showroom monthly sales targets.
  • Develop excellent relationships with existing and new clients.
  • Work closely with Head Office to ensure a high level of communication regarding quotes, orders and enquiries.
  • Maintain the showroom environment and stock displays, assist with installations and refits.
  • Ensure the showroom samples and catalogues are well stocked.
  • Manage showroom stock performing stock checks on a monthly basis.
  • Attend off-site consultations at customer’s offices or homes, participate in industry shows and events.
  • Develop plans to increase client pool, raise our profile and expand showroom traffic.


Skills required

  • A confident, friendly, well presented individual who enjoys working in a customer facing environment.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to obtain key information, dealing with a sophisticated client base in a professional manner, inspiring confidence with their product knowledge and customer service skills.
  • The ability to prioritise workload, managing a number of projects at the same time, working independently with a can do attitude.
  • Enjoy exceeding targets and hitting deadlines, providing creative solutions to situations.
  • MS Office particularly word and excel, internet and email are essential. Basic level database experience would be advantageous.
  • High level of numeracy, literacy and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work well within a small team but also able to take on responsibility and use initiative when working alone.
  • Previous experience in a similar role essential.
