Our Story

Rebecca Scott England was founded in 1997 with one simple belief: exceptional furniture should be designed around the people who live with it.

Before launching the company, we worked in our family’s interior design business, specifying furniture for residential projects across the UK and internationally. Time and again, we found it difficult to source pieces that combined British craftsmanship, lasting quality and the flexibility to suit each individual project. Rather than compromise, we began designing our own.

That same thinking continues to shape everything we do today. Our British-made bespoke furniture is designed around your project, whether that means adapting one of our made-to-order collections or creating a completely bespoke piece of furniture, upholstery or architectural joinery.

Designed by Scott, every collection balances timeless English design with a contemporary perspective, combining carefully selected materials, refined detailing and enduring British craftsmanship. Alongside our furniture, we curate decorative lighting and luxury outdoor furniture from trusted makers who share the same commitment to quality, craftsmanship and lasting design.

Today, we work with interior designers, architects, private clients and design professionals across London, the UK and internationally on residential, hospitality and marine projects. More than 28 years on, we're still inspired by helping create spaces that feel personal, distinctive and made to be enjoyed for generations.
